Responsibilities
- Operates manual and power drive material handling equipment to move parts, finished goods, and miscellaneous items within the plant and to outside locations.
- Receives, stores, and directs the distribution of all materials within the plant, along with record maintenance and verification of counts in all controlled locations.
- Operates the shredder/baler machine and any supporting equipment necessary.
- Records material information by using a CRT terminal.
- Issues, directs, and stores all parts in controlled locations and shops on instruction from supervisors, preparing necessary documentation to maintain records of part numbers, descriptions, counts, and storage locations.
- Ensures count accuracy of parts being moved between locations and takes physical inventory of parts by counting or weighing to verify counts against inventory control records.
- Operates all material handling equipment in an orderly and safe manner, reporting any deficiencies to the Material Handling Supervisor.
- Performs minor mechanical repairs to assigned material handling equipment.
Requirements
- Must be available to work any shift: 1st Shift (M-F 7a-3:30p), 2nd Shift (M-F 4p-11:30p), or 3rd Shift (Sun-Th 11p-7:30a).
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform minor mechanical repairs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in material handling or similar field preferred.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.

- Physical stamina and strength.
- Basic computer literacy.

Pay
$21.53/hour, with a $1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Ask about Instapay options through the Even App.
