About the role
This highly motivated individual, as part of the Shipping department, will be responsible for picking, packing and shipping customer orders along with continuing development within the department. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is onsite, based in Germantown, WI.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Accurately transfer finished goods into inventory.
- Accurately count and organize products in warehouse.
- Systemically ship standard orders (e.g., general carriers, UPS).
- Display proficiency with RF scan gun functions.
- Use basic department computer applications.
- Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts; complete industrial lift truck certifications.
- Maintain department standards and appearance.
- Collaborate effectively with all team members across departments.
- Support other department functions as needed.
- Help create and maintain a positive work environment.
- Understand and abide by all company safety policies.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor or Company management.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be comfortable with heights, as this role may require picking product from high racks in the warehouse.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- 1+ years of experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and/or cherry pickers.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficient with RF scan gun functions.

Working Conditions
While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility at the Company’s location in Germantown, WI. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
- Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
