Material Handler Shipping - Nashua NH

About the role

Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping duties. Use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follow department's shipping practices and procedures and customer requirements to include transportation routing and scheduling along with following detailed packaging instructions. Verifies quantity and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation. Works with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed packaging instructions and shipping practices
• Track, log, verify, and report shipping activities using computer systems
• Determine transportation routing and scheduling per customer requirements
• Verify quantity and conformance of materials to documentation
• Travel occasionally between NH sites (under 10 miles), approximately once per month
• Maintain high attention to detail for minute specifics

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of work experience or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions and execute them accurately
• Ability to stand intermittently for long periods
• Ability to lift 35 lbs independently
• Must be a U.S. Person
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Government or Military packaging experience
• Experience with Oracle or SAP

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $41,844 – $66,952
