About the role
The purpose of this position is to carry out assigned duties, primarily focused on material handling within the Shipping department but support all departmental needs as business demands require.
Responsibilities
- Moves materials from packed staging area to shipping and storage area.
- Returns empty pallets to packing area for reuse.
- Performs daily maintenance and inspection of forklift.
- Affixes labels to outbound shipments.
- Assists in loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Affixes labels to inbound shipments.
- Affixes labels to outbound shipments.
- Affixes labels to inbound shipments.
- Assists in combing pallets to better utilize warehouse space.
- Keeps always assigned work area clean.
- Completes any other related duties required and/or assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Must be able to operate a side loader.
- Education/Experience: High School diploma/GED (minimum); Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment as a material handler; Preferred at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment as a mobile equipment operator.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for up to 12 hours per shift.
- Good Computer Skills.
- Ability to carry out detail written or oral instructions.

Pay
Pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.88-$21.35, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Schedule
The travel required for this position is 1%.
