About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare merchandise for shipment by labeling, packaging, preparing records of goods shipped, and posting weights.
  • Verify shipments are correct.
  • Verify material received from warehouse and assembly cells.
  • Communicate discrepancies.
  • Ensure shipping documents are processed properly.
  • Perform light clerical duties.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other material‑handling equipment.
  • Maintain stock in an orderly and safe manner.
  • Keep the work area clean.
  • Prioritize outgoing shipments.
  • Control inventory.
  • Reject damaged goods and follow company procedures for returns.
  • Lift and move heavy objects.
  • Report problems to crew leaders or the assistant distribution manager.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Wrap and strap pallets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by crew leaders or the assistant distribution manager.

Requirements

  • Formal training in Lean Enterprise principles and methodology (one year experience preferred).
  • Previous shipping & receiving experience in a manufacturing facility (preferred).
  • Previous hand‑scanner experience.
  • Persuasive speaker with natural charisma.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and job assignments.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to interpret written instructions and specifications.
  • Good mathematical aptitude.
  • Basic product knowledge.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and routines related to customer deliveries.
  • Ability to attain and maintain a forklift license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule

Monday–Friday (5‑8 hour shifts) with flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Work Environment

Location: Tulsa, OK – Distribution department in a manufacturing/warehouse setting. Reports to the Assistant Distribution Manager. On‑site workplace arrangement. No supervisory responsibilities.
