What You'll Do
- Accurately pick, scan, label, pack, audit, palletize, wrap, strap, and prepare outgoing materials for shipment using various methods and equipment to ensure secure and efficient transport
- Assemble crates/containers and stage materials for loading onto delivery vehicles, trailers, conveyor systems, or other transport methods
- Complete and process required documentation, including Inter-company Bills of Lading, to support compliant global parts distribution
- Utilize warehouse management systems to input, retrieve, update, and maintain real-time inventory accuracy and parts data
- Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory in correct bin locations while contributing to ongoing accuracy improvements and 5S standards
- Perform general housekeeping to keep the work area clean, safe, and organized in alignment with Tesla safety and operational protocols
- Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts with provided training/certification, tuggers, pallet jacks, flatbed carts, etc.) to load/unload, move, and transport materials between warehouse areas, production floors, and vehicles while strictly following all safety guidelines
What You'll Bring
- Previous material handling experience within a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or comparable environment preferred but not required
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to new work environments
- Command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including days, nights, overnight, and/or weekends as needed as well as potential overtime
- Comfortable driving and operating safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks and flatbed carts
- Successful completion of the hands-on forklift certification during new hire training and maintaining certification throughout employment
- Demonstrated ability to handle and manipulate tooling and mechanically fasten bolts within required cycle time, quickly and accurately during new hire training and maintaining ability throughout employment
- Exposures to hazardous materials used in the painting process and ability to follow waste handling/disposal procedures
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, hearing protection, full-face respirators, gloves, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines

Pay
Expected Compensation
Material Handler - $20.70 - $20.70/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
