Material Handler, Service Delivery
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices.
- Loads, unloads and processes solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local rules and regulations.
- Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
- Performs chemical compatibility checks to prevent reactions and other issues.
- Utilizes barcode system equipment to document certain inventory activities.
- Utilizes knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, OSHA and permit regulations.
- Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed including boots, gloves, suits, eye/ear protection and a respirator.
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
- Be willing to work two Saturdays per month when needed.
Requirements
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ years of related experience (required)
