Material Handler - Second Shift

Temporary second-shift assignment from 9/1/2026 to 12/31/2026.

About the role

The Material Handler transports, stores, and retrieves items in the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Transports items using forklift and other appropriate equipment
• Utilizes safety techniques and follows all safety requirements
• Stores items neatly and in their proper place
• Retrieves items per instructions and delivers them to the appropriate place
• Ensures items are not damaged during transport or storage
• Labels items accurately as directed
• Inventories items accurately as directed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 year experience in handling materials, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to drive a forklift

Essential Functions

• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and heavier items occasionally
• Ability to operate transportation devices and equipment
• Ability to work in extreme cold and hot temperatures
• Ability to lift, push, pull, walk, stand, and squat
