Material Handler - Production

Responsibilities

• Replenishing the forward pick locations remain stocked
• Cycle counts of inventory
• Organizing and maintaining stock locations within warehouses
• Consolidating overflow items to optimize warehouse space
• Auxiliary in small parcel and MTR shipping
• Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner, following all company prescribed guidelines and safety practices
• Maintain clean and organized environment

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in shipping experience
• High School Diploma, College degree preferred
• Organized and detail oriented
• Beginner to Intermediate-level computer experience
• Ability to follow procedures methodically
• Forklift experience a plus

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity for working with small components
• Ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time
• Bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs.
• Managing packages up to 150 lbs as well as standing/stooping for long periods of time
• Comfortable with heights and operating a large turret forklift after proper training

Availability

• Available to work scheduled hours and at least 2 Saturdays per month during peak times
• The typical schedule is 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday
• Overtime opportunities on Fridays or Saturdays may be available
