Position Summary
The SBC Packing-Blending Technician is responsible for SBC Packing and Blending, operating process equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery & equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- SBC Packing Operations: Perform SBC packing operations in accordance with established procedures and production requirements; efficiently produce filled SBC product in accordance with visual standards; perform Flushout/Grade Changes in accordance with production requirements; maintain an organized work area.
- Reblend Operations: Perform blending duties for Dry Blend and Wet Blend operations following all area SJP; follow blend back campaigns as communicated from Supervisor; prepare emptied bags and discard consumed raw materials during blending; maintain an organized work area.
- Bulk Operations: Perform support duties and tasks for Chemours Bulk Operations.
- Quality & Compliance: Inspect all SBC bags prior to hanging for defects and contamination; maintain accurate and legible documentation following area SJP; ensure accurate application of all labeling and barcodes on bags during filling process; report on all quality variances.
- Equipment Inspections: Inspect all process equipment prior to operation; inspect blending equipment and product screens prior to blending; ensure metal detector operation; inspect fill tube hoses; inspect scale for product underneath; properly document and report any issues found during inspections.
- Inventory & Sampling: Complete SBC sampling to ensure product quality following sample schedule recipe; ensure accurate labeling of all SBC product samples; assist in physical inventories for raw materials; ensure proper stock rotation for all raw materials.
- Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance: Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area; comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards; ensure compliance with all DSV Housekeeping and 5s+ policies and procedures; participate in safety meetings; report all safety hazards immediately to supervision.
- Equipment Operation: Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, drum attachment, or other power equipment; maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion; inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment; operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods; maintain an active forklift certification.
- Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.

NoneMinimum Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/manufacturing/relevant environment.
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program (where applicable).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- 1-2 years forklift experience (where applicable).
- Minimum 1-year experience in SBC Packing & Reblend Operations.
- Current or prior MHE certification (where applicable).
