Primary responsibilities
- Cooking up outbound loads using LN and systematically shipping material
- Processing outbound shipments to customers
- Scheduling transportation via phone, email, and third-party websites
- Ensuring all material is loaded promptly and accurately
- Handling small parcel shipments
- Operating PIV as needed
- Executing the hot outbound process
- Frequent email monitoring for changes to daily priorities
- Ensuring all packaging complies with transportation regulations
- Assisting in other areas and duties as directed by supervision
- Participating in and supporting daily PIDs with area supervisor
- Providing necessary support for daily metrics reporting
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months logistics/material handling or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous forklift operation experience required
- Basic knowledge of PC for data entry
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) preferred
Qualifications
- Climate controlled environment with minimal exposure to outdoor elements, concrete flooring
- Able to team lift up to 55 lbs.
- Able to push and pull up to 125 lbs.
- Frequent bending and reaching required
