Material Handler II - 1st Shift

Crystal Cabinet Works, a custom cabinet manufacturer since 1947, is seeking a Material Handler II to join our team in Princeton, MN. We craft fine cabinetry sold through independent kitchen and bath dealers across the USA and Canada, focusing on exceptional value and quality.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM – 3:15 PM; Friday 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM.

Pay

Salary Grade D: $21.00 – $24.95 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work to ensure efficient movement of supplies, raw materials, and freight.
• Transport materials between the main warehouse and central warehouse.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification; operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Use pallet jacks as needed.
• Process UPS, FedEx, and SpeeDee deliveries.
• Make inquiries to the ERP system as needed.
• Prepare complete, thorough, and timely documentation.
• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory.
• Conduct safety checks on forklifts before operation.
• Submit repair requests for maintenance.
• Change and fill propane tanks on forklifts.
• Charge forklifts.
• Load and unload material by hand.
• Rotate stock as needed.
• Unload trucks, review Bills of Lading, and inspect materials for damage.
• Deliver materials to appropriate locations on the production floor.
• Report damaged materials to Buyers.
• Deliver packages to designated employees.
• Fuel truck(s) as needed.
• Perform fundamental mathematical calculations and read measurement devices (e.g., tape measure).
• Maintain working knowledge of various wood species and differentiate between them.
• Communicate and interact positively with all team members company-wide.
• Operate band cutter and cardboard crusher.
• Participate in safety audits.
