Material Handler I - Palletizer

Supports the Single Serve personnel with production-based duties including moving inventory (raw and finished), staging machines, and stacking and wrapping finished goods on pallets. Reports to the Single Serve Supervisor and receives daily supervision from the Single Serve Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret work orders and instructions to ensure proper materials and specifications.
• Stage machines with adequate materials to perform necessary work orders.
• Assist in covering Operations Support team members during lunch and breaks.
• Execute material changeovers on select machines throughout the shift.
• Complete all required quality checks and paperwork accurately.
• Move raw materials from inventory to production and finished materials to shipping.
• Operate an electric or manual pallet jack safely and proficiently.
• Stack finished goods cases onto pallets following required patterns.
• Stretch wrap and secure pallets for shipping.
• Clean work area, machines, and equipment to aid operators.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety, and GMP requirements.
• Follow all required work safety procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform all duties safely and continuously monitor areas to ensure safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift/Motorized Pallet Jack certification or ability to become certified.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to follow schedules, verbal, and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sound logic.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to read department documents and reports.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay

$18.39 per hour.

Schedule

First shift.
