Material Handler I - Day Shift

About the role

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

Pulls/Transfers and Services Inventory to the different factories.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills production schedules.
• Certified in the company's quality control process.
• Maintains quality goals.
• Maintains productivity goals.
• Complies with company safety standards.
• Forklift certified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows software.
• Forklift certification required.
• Physical strength to lift up to 40 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally, and assist with team lifting of loads in excess of 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day, work on feet, climb ladders, bend, stoop, walk, twist, kneel, reach, see, and hear.
