Second Shift (Afternoons)

Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C
• Fluctuating Temps hot/cold
• Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery)
• Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
• Standing for full shift
• Variety of outside weather conditions

A Day in the Life

Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations. Work in one or more process paths; receiving, stocking, picking, packing, or shipping. Repetitive motions lifting, kneeling, bending and pushing packages up to 50lbs Maintain a high level of detail at an efficient pace daily. Majority of work tasks will be completed in a 2-8C cold room.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• PREFERRED: Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
• PREFERRED: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers/forklifts)

Experience

• Preferred: Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly
• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 70 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
