MATERIAL HANDLER I

Responsibilities

• Pull, issue, and deliver materials from job pick tickets to maintain work schedules.
• Troubleshoot problems related to materials and production orders.
• Physical receive and verify incoming materials to ensure accuracy and proper placement in inventory.
• Kit production orders based on pick tickets or package finished goods for shipment.
• Return materials and prepare for shipment, ensuring proper identification if required.
• Check-in and verify physical material quantities and part numbers upon arrival.
• Maintain and organize inventory levels, performing cycle counts as needed.
• Communicate with Quality, Purchasing, Production, and Manufacturing departments to share information.
• Notify supervisors of non-conforming equipment, materials, or sub-assemblies and identify suspected parts.
• Create and enter data into Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
• Support other manufacturing activities as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to 6S principles.
