Material Handler I

Responsibilities

• Use Hilo, sit-down forklift and pallet jacks as necessary
• Load and unload trucks
• Label incoming shipments as directed
• Ensure order pickers and production cells have access to materials as necessary
• Use computer to check inventory locations
• Issue material to the manufacturing floor upon completion of the production process
• Pick orders for shipment
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse, including equipment
• Adhere to all safety regulations
• Cross trains in other Warehouse/Receiving and Shipping departments as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience driving a Hi-Lo in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment or related experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to learn RIF scanner
• Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
