Material Handler I

About the role

Receives incoming materials in the warehouse, verifies material is tagged correctly and transferred to the correct location, stages parts for production orders, delivers parts to production, and picks and delivers bulk issue items to filter production such as paper media and glue frames.

Responsibilities

• Stage parts for production orders as directed by the Inventory clerk or group leader.
• Deliver parts to production after staging.
• Pick and deliver bulk issue items to filter production (e.g., paper media, glue frames) as required.
• Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations.
• Perform weekly cycle counts as required.
• Complete daily checklist on assigned forklift.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16”.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
