Material Handler I (7:00am - 7:00pm) $16.75/hr.

About the role

We are currently searching for a Material Handler I to be based out of Weatherford, TX. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this person properly stacks finished pipe and checks for quality, and uses a forklift to weigh and transport finished product.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Quality Control duties
• Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities
• Weigh and transport finished product
• Process regrind
• All other assigned duties

Requirements

• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
• Adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and frequent changes
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to lift 70 pounds unassisted
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

First 3 months

• Complete any required training
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders for this role
• Become well‑versed in Atkore’s Business System and understand the importance of the role to daily operations

Pay

As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay is $16.75 per hour. Placement depends on competencies, education, experience, and other factors. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
