About the role
Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.
Responsibilities
- Ability to use a hand scanner
- Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
- Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
- Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
- Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
- Transfers finished products to designated areas
- Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
- Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
- Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manager
- Participates in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
- Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
- Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
- Experience with hand-held RF scanner and manual/motorized pallet jack.
Requirements
- Must be forklift operation certified.
- Ability to stand on concrete floors up to 8 hours per day.
- Exposure to loud noise; functional vision and hearing required.
- Physical demands: medium‑heavy work, lifting up to 70 lbs.
