Material Handler/Forklift Operator - Weekend Shift - $1500 Bonus

Essential Functions

• Operates material handling equipment to receive, store, and ship material.
• Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine a) quantity is as ordered, b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
• Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Understand, read and write basic English.
• Perform basic math calculations: Addition, Subtraction and Multiplication.
• Read and understand the English alphabet.
• Capture and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.
• Show willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
• Show observance, detail orientation, and safety awareness.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. throughout the day.
• Adhere to all safety requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
