Material Handler - Forklift
What You’ll Do
- Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
- Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
- Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk).
- Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
- Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area.
- Aids in periodic inventory counts as requested.
What We’re Looking For
- One year or recent forklift/warehouse experience.
- Proficient and safe use of forklift to transport products, load/unload trucks.
- Understanding and following directions.
- Ability to work independently at times under pressure.
- Handling physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Reading and comprehending sales orders, purchase orders, safety material, etc.
- Safe work record and stable work history.

The fixed rate is $20.22 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations.
