Material Handler - Engineered Wood

Responsibilities

• Perform daily distribution yard activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping/building loads.
• Check incoming material against invoices, unload, and warehouse materials, ensuring proper storage or stacking.
• Retrieve material from the yard/warehouse following sales orders, build loads for delivery, and operate a chainsaw to cut lumber.
• Load delivery trucks using a forklift and, if required, operate machinery to cut material to customer specifications.
• Verify loads against orders before vehicles exit the yard.
• Maintain warehouse and yard to meet housekeeping and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
• Ability to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• General warehouse experience, including forklift operation, and/or knowledge of a warehouse work environment.
• Knowledge of building material products.
• Chainsaw experience.

Schedule

3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday
