Material Handler, Energy (Part Time)

What You'll Do

• Aid daily operations of material flow, including receiving, issuing, and organizing materials to support installation and service schedules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and drive continuous improvements.
• Monitor material needs for scheduled orders, track real-time progress to delivery targets, and adjust manpower as needed.
• Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse.
• Conduct first-level investigations into quality and safety incidents, documenting findings and proposing preventive actions.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts to transport materials to/from receiving and staging areas; prepare outgoing materials using proper packaging methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S protocols and ensuring proper PPE usage.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Managers, Lead Material Handlers, and cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, up to 12 hours a day.
• Frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs., including the ability to carry 50 lbs. up and down stairs.
• Frequently and repetitively bend, lift, and reach to install vehicle parts.
• Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for extended periods.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, or other high structures.
• Find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing.
• Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for various shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as needed.
