Key Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately operate a forklift to load outbound trailers and move materials throughout our climate-controlled facility.
- Scan and move products accurately using warehouse data systems to ensure perfect inventory accountability and precision.
- Conduct quality checks on outbound shipments and verify all shipping labels, product counts, and packaging integrity.
- Create, review, and complete accurate shipping paperwork and log shipment records into the computer database.
- Safely lift up to 40 pounds and move materials manually when needed to maintain logistics flow.
- Participate with high precision in monthly and physical warehouse inventories.
- Adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes (QMPs), and site safety programs, championing a safety-first culture.
Position Requirements
- Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent civilian/military education.
- Forklift Experience: Demonstrated experience safely operating a forklift in an industrial or warehouse environment.
- Teamwork & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work in a high-performing team environment with a willingness to learn and be coached.
- Disciplined Initiative: Ability to act with disciplined initiative to solve problems and optimize workflow.
- Technical Literacy: Working knowledge of basic computer programs for data entry, recording, and maintaining logistics data.
- Core Competencies: Basic math skills, a keen eye for detail, and good verbal/written communication skills.
