Material Handler-DC Warehouse (2 positions))

Essential Accountabilities

• Drive forklift
• Assist in receipt and storage of incoming and outgoing materials
• Read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork
• Must be proficient with Scan gun and JDE System
• Maintain an outstanding attendance record
• Inventory/Transaction Accuracy is required
• Assist with cycle counts
• Inspect trucks for all loads entering
• Wrap and move finished goods
• Dump trash and keep warehouse space clean

Qualification Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, required
• 1 - 2 years warehouse experience preferred, plus experience in warehouse functions of JDE, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, preferred
• Must be organized and able to multi-task and solve issues in a timely manner
• Must be able to work with speed in a fast-paced environment and with accuracy
• Must be able to follow instructions

Physical & Requirements

• Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, on and off the forklift, pushing/pulling and reaching
• Repetitive hand and foot movement
• Work environment includes occasional noise >85db, hot and cold temperatures and some fumes/odors
• Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision
