Material Handler- Cutting- 2nd shift

About the role

This position is responsible for cutting glass to size and shape using various tools and equipment. Flat glass is delivered in very large sheets, which are then cut down to custom sizes. These custom sizes are removed from a cutting table and placed onto rolling carts.

Schedule

This is a 2nd shift position, scheduled Sunday-Wednesday, 4:00pm-2:30am, and Thursday, 4:00pm-12:30am.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment as requested by management
• Maintain work area, inventory control, and quality control related to product assembly
• Meet production goals set by management
• Safely and consistently lift up to 75 pounds alone or 150 pounds in a team lift
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Ensure regular and predictable attendance

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Previous shop floor, factory, or warehouse experience is highly desirable but not required (training provided for the right candidate)
