Material Handler/Crane Operator - 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler / Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials using overhead cranes and other equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to move, lift, and position materials as required.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and material handling.
• Maintain accurate records of materials handled and equipment used.
• Keep a clean and safe working station complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Material Handler or Crane Operator required.
• Valid overhead crane operator certification required.
• Forklift and Crane experience.
• Inventory Operations experience.
• Stock Control and Inventory Management experience.
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work scheduled hours.
