Material Handler- CDL (Yard Driver)

Schedule

• 12-hour Day shift (8am-8:30pm)
• 3 days one week, 4 days the next week, rotating weekends

Major Functions And Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on equipment before and after use
• Move trailers and other equipment around the yard
• Communicate with other personnel to coordinate movements
• Maintain a well-organized yard
• Operate forklift to move materials, as needed
• Auxiliary duties as assigned

Requirements

• CDL-Class A or B
• Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
• Experience operating a forklift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to reach above and below shoulder height
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to perform all physical motions, i.e., twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and walking on uneven ground
