Job Description: Material Handler - 1st and 2nd Shift Pay: $23.00 per hour Location: Morton Grove, IL We are currently hiring 4 Material Handlers to join our warehouse team. Available Shifts: 2 openings - First Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM2 openings - Second Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Overtime opportunities available. Benefits Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for maintaining the movement of incoming and outgoing products throughout the facility while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and production operations. This role focuses primarily on outbound shipping and ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.Load and unload palletized and non-palletized trailers.Sort and store inventory on racks, shelves, or designated storage areas.Assemble orders and place products on pallets for shipment.Label materials with identifying information.Open crates, containers, and other packaging as needed.Count, weigh, and verify materials for accuracy.Enter inventory and shipping information into the warehouse computer system.Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.Follow all workplace safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.Support internal and external customer needs.Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse management software.Experience operating material handling equipment is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.Frequently lift up to 30 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise.Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed.Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment and use a computer.
