Huntington Beach Summary The Material Handler assists with the production, distribution, receipt, and quality check of product, which is pulled from inventory and delivered to production areas. Communication and organization skills are essential for the Material Handler position. Reports to the Department Manager. Compensation & Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Company Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement* Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supports Planning, Manufacturing, and Production teams to manage work order jobs and deliver physical materials Works with Warehouse to receive critical material in the ERP system Works with Quality department to quality check critical material in the ERP system Organizes, scans, and attaches documentation in the ERP system Delivers raw material and hardware to designated areas within the facility; pulls work order jobs and issues material to job numbers as required by Production and Manufacturing Ensures correct material type and count for each job are correctly staged Ensures proper material stocking levels and works with Planning to identify and avoid shortages Operates area-appropriate machines, loading material, checking machine calibration, etc. Manages Crosstrack inventory and utilizes EPICOR to reflect material issued from Crosstrack Coordinates material testing with Material Test Lab Education & Experience Required Education: High School Diploma Preferred: Forklift certified Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, organize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook); ERP experience a plus This position requires the use of stairs and occasionally lifting objects up to 95 lbs Must be a U.S. Citizen Itar Requirements To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
