About the role
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Material Handler to support their retail store operations. This position is integral to the success of the retail operation, which generates revenue for programs and services and provides job opportunities to those facing limited options.
Responsibilities
- Aid donors or Goodwill transportation staff with unloading donations from donor vehicles or store trucks using rolling carts or dollies.
- Maintain a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties to ensure the cleanliness of the store and donation area.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- No formal education required.
- One year of production experience preferred.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and team-mindedness.
