Material Handler

About the role

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Material Handler to support their retail store operations. This position plays a crucial role in fueling their mission of empowering people to achieve self-sufficiency through job opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Aid donors or Goodwill transportation staff in unloading donations from vehicles or store trucks using rolling carts or dollies.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of the store and donation areas.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• One year of production experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay rate: $13.00 per hour.

Shift: B, 1:00pm – 9:30pm.

Hours: Five 8-hour days.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
