Responsibilities
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products throughout the store and storage areas.
- Receive deliveries and transport products from loading areas to designated storage or sales floor locations in a timely manner.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure products are readily available for customers.
- Organize backroom and storage areas to maintain an efficient and accessible inventory system.
- Track, label, and verify products to support accurate inventory and minimize loss.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting, handling, and storage of products.
- Absorb and assist with rotating stock and monitoring product quality, including checking dates and condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in both storage and sales floor areas.
- Support store operations and team members by ensuring products are available and replenished as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate stocking and inventory priorities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store, retail, warehouse, stocking, or material handling environment.
- Ability and willingness to learn safe operation of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools.
- Basic inventory, labeling, and stocking skills.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper product handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Valid RealID Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.
