About the role
At Crusoe, we move fast and build things. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of materials from our manufacturing shops to job sites. This full-time role is critical to our production process. You will be responsible for the preparation, packaging, and continuous improvement of all shipping activities for the products and parts we manufacture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the transportation coordinator to follow the shipping schedule, identify opportunities for efficiency, and prepare and process all required documentation, including shipping invoices and packing slips.
- Cookload and unload outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy and quality. Tag all materials with the required information and use a pallet jack or forklift to move materials throughout the shop and load/unload delivery trucks.
- Ensure all quality check sheets are completed to company standards before final packaging. Photograph projects to create a quality history and document any damages, overages, or shortages. Contribute to updating the status board and identifying areas for improvement.
- Uphold Crusoe's relentless commitment to safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Provide input to management regarding staffing and hiring decisions and actively participate in training new team members to foster a positive, team-oriented culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or related role.
- Required forklift experience and the ability to use basic hand tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- A collaborative team player with a good attitude and a willingness to learn and improve.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use your arms and hands for a full workday.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., Infor Visual, Acumatica).
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Pay
Compensation will be paid in the range of $21 - $30/hr + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
