Material Handler

About the role

Barchemy is looking for an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to ensure perfect order in a busy warehouse environment. The role involves transferring raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, maintaining proper inventory levels, and adhering to Lot tracking and FIFO practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a team setting.

This position is located in Hunker, PA (36 miles from downtown Pittsburgh), and requires valid transportation to reach the site.

Responsibilities

• Transfer raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the warehouse
• Maintain proper inventory levels to support uninterrupted production
• Ensure Lot tracking and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) compliance for all goods
• Assist with additional tasks as needed on a daily basis
• Adhere to food safety regulations and good manufacturing practices
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Basic math and interpersonal skills
• 6 months to 1 year of forklift driving experience
• 1 year of warehouse experience (required)
• Ability to learn and demonstrate knowledge of food safety regulations
