Material Handler

Position Overview

The Kapolei plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm/7pm-7am) working 4 days one week/3 days the next and rotating from day to night shift every 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate forklift and coordinate products including raw materials, scrap, finished goods, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Effectively communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and customers.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

Required Experience & Skills

• A High School Diploma or education equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience in an industrial environment.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• 3 or more years of operation and maintenance of forklift.
• Working knowledge of proper hazardous waste management.
• Experience using JD Edwards, AS900, or similar warehouse or ERP system.

Physical Environment & Working Conditions

• Hot/Cold working conditions.
• Loud /Noisy environment.
• Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
• Climbing (stairs, catwalks, and other equipment as necessary).

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected Hiring Salary Range: $25.05/hr
