Material Handler - 3rd Shift Replenishment
Responsibilities
- Perform the replenishment of various materials.
- Work with the replenishment supervisor and inventory control to ensure material is being placed in the proper bins at the correct quantities with the correct transfers being made.
- Ensure that all products replenished in the warehouse are free of defects and moved according to the transfer order quantity and bin location.
- Maintain efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse area.
- Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA / MSDS Standards.
- Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in investigating replenishment issues.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- One year of material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- No prior experience necessary but is preferred.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Will be required to have completed or to satisfactorily complete the Fork Truck training program.
