Material Handler - 3rd Shift

Shift: 3rd (8:00 PM – 4:30 AM). Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

About the Role

Supports production needs by setting up, adjusting, and operating bottle handling equipment, labelers, and video jets.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean work area and equipment.
• Checks bottles for proper code and label during change-overs.
• Monitors the Alpine machine: clears jams and reroutes jugs as needed.
• Maintains jug supply and storage; communicates bottle trailer needs to supervisor.
• Keeps machines running to the bagging machine.
• Operates bagging machine when production is down.
• Communicates with lead person or supervisor when issues arise.
• Assists Maintenance when equipment is down.
• Follows all Safety Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

• High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or international equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50–60 pounds.
• Must be able to push and pull stacks of products weighing up to 200 pounds.
• May require working in cooler rooms with varying temperatures and contact with water or dairy liquids.
• Exposed to noise levels of up to 90 decibels; wet/slippery work conditions.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.
