Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for Material Handlers on 2nd Shift!

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility, desired
• Experience operating a forklift, preferred; ability to pass in-house certifications, upon hire, and operate equipment safely
• Ability to communicate effectively; accurately and legibly record information on shipping documents
• Able to accurately count and complete basic math operations with a calculator
• Able to perform safety sensitive position
• Able to work in a facility that processes multiple proteins including beef, pork, chicken, turkey, fish, lamb, rabbit, kangaroo, and egg
• Must be 18 years of age or older for insurance purposes

Physical Requirements

• Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift up to 75% of the day
• Stand and/or walk consistently
• Occasionally lift and/or push/pull 50 pounds
• Occasionally kneel or bend at the knees and/or waist
• Ability to tolerate varying environmental conditions including wet slippery conditions or extreme hot/cold
