Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
  • Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations using established procedures and inventory systems.
  • Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines, work cells, or shipping areas as required.
  • Prepare and package outbound shipments in accordance with company and customer specifications.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or carts (as certified).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as needed.
  • Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, and logistics personnel.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems are preferred.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Work Environment

  • A warehouse and distribution environment.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • May involve overtime or flexible scheduling based on operational demands.
