Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations using established procedures and inventory systems.
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines, work cells, or shipping areas as required.
- Prepare and package outbound shipments in accordance with company and customer specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or carts (as certified).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, and logistics personnel.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems are preferred.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Work Environment
- A warehouse and distribution environment.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- May involve overtime or flexible scheduling based on operational demands.
