Material Handler - 2nd shift 3pm-1am (Mon-Thur)

About the role

We are seeking a MATERIAL HANDLER to join our TEAM at Galvion in Newport, Vermont. Galvion designs, develops, and manufactures helmets, dynamic power and data management systems, and optical solutions for the modern battlefield. As a MATERIAL HANDLER, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
• Perform routine inventory checks and maintain accurate records
• Ensure all materials are stored safely and according to company guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge
• Support other team members as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Positive mindset
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, including shifts of ten to twelve hours
• Ability to lift and/or move stock, materials, and unfinished products
