Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and promptly alert the Supervisor or suitable contact about any unsafe situations or potential safety risks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Notify the Team Leader or other appropriate resource when issues arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
• Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to ensure the delight of internal and external customers.
• Maintain equipment, including safety checks.
• Ensure a continuous supply of equipment and materials necessary to complete operations.
• Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
• Ensure that products meet nVent’s quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
• Perform rotational assignments as needed.
• Actively participate as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.

Pay

Pay Transparency: nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
