Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Claremore, Oklahoma. This role ensures a stable flow of materials in the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Move all received material to designated kit or warehouse locations—both physically and via system entry (Glovia).
- Complete kits by pulling items listed on pick lists or BOMs; assign kit bay locations for storage.
- Provide kits, raw, and consumable materials to production to support manufacturing.
- Perform all necessary Glovia transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Communicate any inventory or material issues to the Warehouse Manager.
This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill”).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior material handling experience desired.
- Forklift Operator Certificate required.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferably Glovia).
- Strong understanding of safety practices in warehouse.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment
- Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typical of metal fabrication shops.
- Required personal protective equipment includes noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, paint masks/respirators (when required), and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes.
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand for long periods of time.
- Walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
- Full-time position: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
