About the role
Join King & Prince Seafood as a Material Handler I and play a critical role in keeping our production running smoothly. In this hands-on position, you’ll move and manage materials, ensure quality by removing defective products, and work closely with our logistics team to keep everything on track. Responsibilities
- Opens and prepares raw material for processing.
- Assists in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures to include K&P good manufacturing practices (GMP) and food safety policies.
- Relies on instructions from Line Techs, Line Auditors, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Removes defective product from production line.
- Prepares seafood for processing.
- Packages and palletizes finished goods.
- Complies with company safety, quality, SOP, HACCP and GMP guidelines.
- Occasionally assists with line set up.
- Maintains appropriate level of ingredients and raw material.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Become certified to use manual and electric pallet jack.
Requirements
- Must be available to work Monday through Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am, overtime when required.
- Position requires being able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively for extended periods of time.
- Positions require a higher degree of manual dexterity.

Pay
Starting at $17.50/hr. plus shift differential.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am, overtime when required.
