Material Expeditor

TSC is seeking a forward-thinking & highly motivated Material Expeditor to support the Supply Chain team in a fast-paced, onsite role within the Airborne and ISR Solutions Division in Raeford, NC. The ideal candidate will proactively manage the timely delivery and flow of materials, ensuring efficient production and on-time project completion.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Procurement, Programs, Production, and Logistics Teams to resolve supply chain issues.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules and expedite shipments when necessary.
• Assist in coordinating alternate sources or materials in case of shortages or disruptions.
• Identify and escalate potential delays that could impact production or delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, lead times, deliveries, and material statuses in ERP or tracking tools.
• Support RMA customer returns as required.
• Coordinate the internal flow of material into production or to the end user.
• Perform other team support functions as needed.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or expediting role or equivalent years of military, education, and experience.
• Experience in the aviation industry.
• US Citizenship.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• AA/AS in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance or 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance or 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with Costpoint.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
