Material Expeditor
About the role
Aleknagik Technology, LLC is seeking an On-site Material Expeditor to support wholesale supply chain functions, including receiving and processing incoming assets, storage, inventory, packing, packaging, transportation, repair cycle support, cargo movement/planning, and demilitarization of equipment/parts prior to disposal action.
Responsibilities
The role involves using computer terminals, handheld terminals, scanners, and other equipment to input data for required transactions, as well as operating forklift trucks and automated material handling equipment to move, stack, and position material.
Requirements
- Ability to use computer terminals, handheld terminals, scanners, and other equipment to input data for required transactions
- Ability to operate forklift trucks and automated material handling equipment
- Traffic Management background highly desired
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Secret/Top Secret clearance required
- Subject to random drug testing
Work Environment
The work environment will be in a warehouse setting as well as outside environment duties and requires the employee to lift or move material weighing up to 40 pounds. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM, excluding federal holidays and special organizational days. Place of performance will be at various locations at Lackland AFB and Port San Antonio, Texas.
