Material Driver - Kansas City

About the role

The upfitting division of Holman is seeking a Full-Time Material Driver to join our team in Kansas City, MO.

Responsibilities

• Driving a non CDL Box truck from shop to shop
• Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled)
• Assist and participate in conducting cycle counts
• Properly receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment
• Pull and stage parts for production and complete requisitions for parts shortages
• Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment
• Comply with the company’s safety policies while using lifting devices (forklifts and scissor lifts) and clean initiative standards
• Perform other functions and responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Valid Cass E Driver's License with a Medical Endorsement
• Prior driving experience (Non CDL box truck)
• Prior experience or forklift certification in warehouse/materials environment desired
• Able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office
• Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping systems
• Basic computer skills
• A good attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to prioritize daily activities
• Pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment

Pay

Starting in the range of $20.00 - $25.40 USD per hour, depending on experience and license.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
