Material Cutter/Saw Operator - Greenville, SC

Responsibilities

• Select saw blade according to type of material and cut specifications on work order
• Pull stock from storage, restock as needed, remove cut stock from machine, and maintain production count
• Use programmable displays on CNC saws to set up and cut materials
• Establish cutting parameters to achieve maximum quality
• Perform preventative maintenance and other routine maintenance on equipment as prescribed in work instructions
• Drive forklift to transport material throughout the warehouse
• Maintain general warehouse housekeeping and safe work habits

Requirements

• At least two years of experience using a computerized table saw or guillotine
• At least two years of experience driving a forklift
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds
• Stable work history of at least 9 months
• Experience using a computer
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
