About the role
Parsons Corporation is searching for a motivated and innovative Material Coordinator/Logistics Specialist to join our growing organization. The responsibilities include coordinating tracking, integration, storage, shipment, and fielding of a global network of tactical systems. Outstanding team members are self-starters with an insatiable curiosity, superb work ethic, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate would have experience managing hundreds of hardware components throughout their lifecycle and ensuring success in a complex, dynamic system of systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a procurement tracking system for all hardware to manage components from cradle to grave.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to obtain procurement approvals and procure hardware.
- Tracks systems integration and provides capability updates to stakeholders.
- Maintains and manages system spares, as well as test and training systems.
- Maintains positive control of all hardware and tools.
- Creates tailored inventory reports.
- Ensures all electro-static sensitive devices are stored with proper protection.
- Manages warehouses and storerooms.
Requirements
- 2 years’ relevant experience in logistics and inventory control.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to bend and lift 20 pounds and climb to work platforms over 10 feet in height.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Knowledge or interest in radio frequency and antenna design.
- Knowledge or interest in SIGINT, Electronic Warfare, Digital Signals Processing, Intelligence Community communication networks, RF fundamentals, tactical hardware, and algorithm development.
Security Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Pay
Salary Range: $26.59 - $46.54 per hour.
